Hannah Montana who? Miley Cyrus is all grown up and has ditched her ripped jeans and bedazzled tees for a sophisticated photo shoot in the March issue of Marie Claire.
She rocks it out in a metallic silver Gareth Pugh dress inside the March 2011 issue of Marie Claire.
The 18-year-old actress chatted with the mag about her oh-so-famous make-out pic with Victorious star Avan Jogia. “If you look at the picture, I’m turned away, and he’s kissing me on the cheek. It’s very hilarious to me that people say, ‘They’re making out.’ In making out, there’s a tongue,” she shared.

On the cover, the 18-year-old star glances seductively over her bare shoulder, her highlighted hair falling loosely against her daring lace-up Roberto Cavalli dress.
Inside the pages, Cyrus models ensembles that range from edgy to ethereal, including a severely spiked Burberry Prorsum jacket, a metallic Gareth Pugh mini, a chain-mail AF Vandevorst dress, an embellished Dolce & Gabbana shift, and a flowy yellow Donna Karan New York design.
Though her Tesh photo shoot was all glamour, Cyrus’s interview touches upon the not-so-pretty aspects of her personal life, including her parents’ recent breakup and her own headline-making incident in which she was caught on videotape smoking a hallucinogenic herb.
“What I never wanted was for my fans to ever feel like I betrayed them... to feel like I said I was something, then turned around and was something that I’m not," the Disney star says of the controversy. "But I’ve never, ever claimed to be perfect. I mean, since I’ve started the show, I’ve always said, ‘I’m gonna make mistakes.’ I know this. And I think that that is one of the reasons why people related to me. Why kids related to me.”
As for how she's coping with the divorce of her parents, Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus, she says, “Of course anyone is going to be upset when there are troubles in their family, but I have a lot of hope in our family, and no matter what happens, we’re gonna stay strong. I just want my mom to be happy and my dad to be happy and, most of all, my little sister to be happy.”
Speaking of happy, Cyrus tells the magazine she is thrilled with her upcoming film LOL, in which Demi Moore plays her mother.
“It really felt like Demi was my mom a little bit because we had such great conversations, and I feel like it shows on-screen,” she says. “I can’t wait for LOL to come out. It’s what I’m most proud of.”
